Meet just a few of the Static kids...

Hob Nob Classic Frisco aka 'Frisco' and Hob Nob Perfect Balance aka 'Ledger' are from Static's first litter to Hob Nob Red Alert. Frisco went on to win many awards while Ledge is my 'at home buddy' helping at the homestead. This is what Kim Terrill has to say about Static...I first saw Static at a camp that Janice was doing, it was wonderful to watch her and Janice perform together. That day I knew I would love to get a puppy from her, if I could talk Janice into letting me have one of her BC's. Well after several months of Janice checking my references, I got the phone call that Static was being bred. My heart leapt with joy! I never knew that that phone call would change my life forever! I was blessed with "Frisco", from Static's first breeding. As many people know, Frisco is my angel and has brought more joy to my life than I ever thought possible. I want to thank Static and Janice for breeding such a wonderful and healthy dog and my best friend.
Now to meet Static kids from her second litter to Ch Great Glen Hi Y'all CDX...
Static produced two sons from her 2nd mating.
Hob Nob Double Entry (Ledger) and
Hob Nob Odyssey (Epic). Ledger introduced his
owner Kathy Fallon to the world of agility competitions while Epic got his owner
April Quist to buy a farm and compete in sheepherding trials.
Next are the litter sisters...
Hob Nob Riding High (Harley) I met Janice through April Quist just after Static was bred to Jake. I called Jan and spent many phone calls convincing her that my Daughter who was only 15 would be a great home for one of her wonderful puppies. We wanted a puppy for conformation, and possibly obedience. I promised Jan I would take the dog over if Debi lost interest. I made another promise to Jan at that time to expose Harley to herding, and I got hooked! I owe my beautiful CH HC Hob Nob Riding High to Static. I love Static as she is graceful and full of energy and drive. I love to think that our little Harley is just like her mother! Sandi Andersen

I met Static when she was just a puppy. I remember sitting ringside at an obedience trial in Florida (Jan was showing Juice). Static was SO intent on watching the ring! It was as if no one was fast enough or good enough for her taste! Well, she grew up to be the most beautiful Border Collie bitch I have ever seen. She puts such zest into all that she does, be it herding, agility, obedience or just being Mother Superior! She is all a BC should be and I am so very fortunate to have one of her kids. I have Swizzle, who though small is mighty! She shows the same enthusiasm on stock and in the agility ring that her mother does. Soon you’ll be reading how she is STIRRIN’ THINGS UP in the agility venue! In the meantime she is my snugglepup, my little laptop. Kate Jones

Hob Nob Hot Stuff completed her CH title. Sizzle is Jeanine Jahelka's once in a lifetime dog!
Hob Nob Status Symbol (Little Stat right) emulates the meaning of versatility! Here is what Carol Schiefer has to say...
Introducing some Static kids from her mating to Hob Nob Perfect Plan

Hob Nob Ketch The Wave (Surf) and his teammate Wendy Pape are pretty popular on the agility scene whether winning the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge or at her many seminars throughout the country. Surf has taken this team to newer and bigger heights than ever before!
Hob Nob Up One Notch (Cinch) is Cheryl Cunningham's first Border Collie. She fell in love with Surf and was thrilled to be able to get his equally talented and handsome brother.

Hob Nob Eye Of The Storm is all that and more! Julie Sanders claims that Storm is a powerful working dog & she is such a fun companion. This girl has taught me more then any dog I have ever had before! She is everything I ever wanted in a dog and so much more! Storm has brains, beauty and drive in such a sound body...much like her awesome mother Static!
Storm's sister is Hob Nob Classic Summit (Summit) lovingly owned by Kim Terrill. Kim has this to say...

Hob Nob Endzone Meant To Be (Reason) resides in MN with his loving teammate Nancy Little. These are Nancy's comments about Static...I fell in love with Static the first time I met her. Her grace, her style and her determination left a big impression on me. Whether she was working stock, obedience, agility, or just providing herself as a training distraction to other dogs, she took her work very seriously. What I loved most about Static was her heeling style and she put that into her son Reason, who is by far the best heeling dog I have ever had (besides being a natural on stock and in agility)

Hob Nob Frame Bi Frame (Splice) currently competes in obedience and agility earning her CD and soon her agility titles with David Zelitzky as her partner. David's comment on Static, "Thanks, Static, for a great little girl. She's strong and smart, just like you are!" David has this to say about his special Static daughter...Splice and I are inseparable-we have a great relationship in and out of the ring, and everyday I'm thankful to be the guy at the other end of the leash.
Hob Nob Quick As A Whip I owe Static, Scheme, and Jan so
much (and my friend April Quist, who told me about the Static/Scheme breeding,
and provided me with such a good puppy reference), because without them I
wouldn't have my funny, devoted, and much loved Quip. I don't know what I'd do
without him. He makes me laugh everyday with his silly ways, snuggles better
than any dog I've ever shared my life with, and really turns on the power when
we hit the agility field. He is incredibly focused--a wonderful
combination of speed, responsiveness, and honest intellect. He doesn't do
anything by half, and I couldn't have a better agility team mate. To top all
that off, he is a very handsome boy (if I do say so myself!). Living in
Washington State, I've never had the privilege of meeting Ms. Static, but, based
on what I see in Quip, Static must be all that and then some, so my hat is off
to both Static and Jan. Thank you both! Karin Haderly
Now for Static's final batch of kids bred to Hob Nob Perfect Sense...

Hob Nob Leading Edge
(Edge) has yet to compete for her partner Gail Smith of
Running Dog Agility. This
is what Gail has to say about having a Static daughter...I first met Static in
early 2001. One day after my lesson Janice put Static on some
agility equipment for fun and then later Static was brought out to round up some
escaped sheep. I've recently watched Static being put through her
obedience paces and once again I'm in awe of Static's drive, determination and
multi-talents. For me, Static is the poster girl for the versatile working
Border Collie having brains and beauty. I'm very pleased to have my puppy
'Edge' from Static's last litter. Edge and I are having fun learning
agility and herding. Edge brings great joy to my life and I love her
dearly. Thank you Static, Logic and Janice De Mello for my wonderful Edge.

Hob Nob Never Ending Story (Fable) is the love of Yvonne Anderson from WA. She first set eyes on Fable's mother Static at the first Border Society of America's National Specialty competing in herding. These are Yvonne's words... In 1997 I saw 'Static' for the first time. 'Static' was on the herding field with her handler Janice DeMello. I was enthralled by this attractive, wonderful working, expertly handled Border Collie. Janice and 'Static' earned High In Trial in herding that day, that was also the day I knew that my perfect Border Collie would have to come from Janice. I cannot express how delighted I am that I share my life with a Static son. If it were not for Static, I would not have my Fabulous Fable. Thank you Janice DeMello, Static and Logic.

That'll do Static, that'll do
