When Storm, my first Hob Nob BC turned 3 years old, I started thinking it was the right time to get a puppy, and since I absolutely adore Storm, I thought it would be perfect to get a puppy from her.  When Jan suggested breeding Storm to Bezel, I was thrilled!  I’d always admired Bezel’s good looks and his friendly temperament, and I could see how he would be a good match for Storm. The breeding took place without a hitch, and after 9 long weeks, Storm gave birth to five perfect puppies, the Storm Clouds.

From the moment I saw the first pictures of the Storm Cloud puppies at a few hours old, the tri-girl was the one who caught my eye. Five weeks later, when I went out to Jan’s to see the puppies in person, she was still my favorite. She was so beautiful, and so sweet!  When I picked her up and she looked into my eyes, I just melted and fell in love with her.  I was thrilled when Jan told me that tri-girl was the puppy she thought would be best for me. Tri-girl became Stratus.

Since day one, Stratus and I have had a special bond. She is so much fun to work with, eager to learn whatever I show her. She has a sense of humor, and is always quick to forgive me when I make a mistake in my handling. She is an excellent partner in obedience and agility, and a wonderful companion for everyday life whether we are hiking, camping, swimming, or just taking a walk. She is all I hoped she would be and more. I can’t imagine any dog being more suitable for me than Stratus. Thank you, Jan, for seeing what a great team we would make! Julie Sanders, NM
